The Lake Charles yard is built for industrial scale. Westlake, Sulphur, and the Calcasieu Ship Channel run on continuous turnarounds, expansions, and LNG capex — and we run the cranes that move the steel. The yard carries 40 to 500 ton capacity, with crawler and all-terrain mix biased toward refinery and petrochemical work. NCCCO operators are pre-badged at Phillips 66, Citgo, Sasol, Westlake Chemical, and the LNG operators on the channel.
We were on the ground for Calcasieu Pass and Cameron LNG mods and have stayed there for ongoing operations and maintenance. Turnaround season means dispatch runs at sustained tempo: pre-stage cranes the week before, rotate operators on 12-hour shifts, return cranes for inspection between units.
After Hurricane Laura we ran emergency lifts across the parish for sixty consecutive days. Storm response is part of the muscle memory of this yard.
Cranes available from this yard. Other yards within reach if a specialty pick needs a different rig.
4WD rough-terrain crane for off-road jobsites, refinery yards, and tight industrial pads where a truck crane will not fit.
Hydraulic truck crane for mid-weight commercial, light industrial, and downtown picks where 40T is short and 90T is overkill.
All-terrain crane that drives at highway speed and works off-road on the same day. Most-requested crane in our fleet.
Long-boom all-terrain class for heavy commercial, marine, and refinery picks needing reach plus capacity.
Heavy-lift class for transformer sets, vessel work, structural sets, and critical industrial picks.
Industrial heavy-lift class for refinery turnaround, LNG, marine topside, and substation work.
Large-class all-terrain for LNG modules, refinery vessel sets, and major industrial picks.
Top of the CDH fleet. Engineered heavy lift for refinery vessels, LNG modules, and critical structural picks.
Routine coverage runs roughly 70 miles from yard. We mobilize farther when the project supports it.
350,000 lb reactor head removal during a planned turnaround with engineered tail crane and night curfew.
92,000 lb module set on schedule despite weather hold and channel traffic coordination.
Seven-day rolling rebuild with rigging plans approved by the unit superintendent and zero recordables.
Dispatch is staffed 24/7. Two-minute call to scope the pick, same-day quote in most cases.
